The Apache MINA project team is proud to announce the new minor point releases of Apache MINA, a Java network application framework, version 1.0.8 and 1.1.5.

这两个版本的区别在于：

1.0.8是MINA的发行版，如果想在你的产品中使用MINA，那么建议使用这个版本。而1.1.5是1.0版本的Java5的实现。另外MINA也有2.0的版本，这个版本跟1.x是不兼容的，它重写了MINA的架构，简化了很多的API。Apache的项目经常会这样干，例如Apache Http Server、Tomcat、Struts等等，同时进行两个版本的开发。
